Time tracking: the clock and running timers
Under *Time tracking* or right on the job you start a clock — it keeps running until you stop it, and shows up as a running timer in the cockpit so nothing is forgotten.
Tied to the job
Every time entry belongs to a job, so job costing later knows how many hours actually went into it — booked, not estimated.
Onto the invoice
A logged time entry can be added as a line item to a quote or invoice at the stored hourly rate, without typing it twice.
For payroll prep
At month end, time tracking gathers the hours for payroll preparation (see *Team & staff*) — Livo does not calculate wages, only the basis for them.
🔴 Not there yet
No GPS tracking when clocking in — that would record an employee's location, which is a labour-law question, not just a technical one. Deliberately left out until that is settled.
